| Biography* | According to Edna Earl Braxton who knew "Aunt Sac", she was described as a Little Bittie thing weighing not more than 90 pounds and always wore a bonnet. When Edna was a child she was told that Aunt Sac was the daughter of one of those rich Davenports from Pactolus. She was also told that Sallie never married. The last time Edna saw Aunt Sac was at a family funeral when Edna was 16. In the 1900 Census, she was living in the household of Susan Davenport and was recorded as her daughter. |
