Deed*Ephraim bought property at Pitt County, North Carolina, in __/__/1783. It is recorded that an Adam McGlohon sold Ephraim Williams 50 acres adjoining the land of Thos. Blaxton (Braxton?) and Lazarus Smith. This land was a portion of the John Simpson patent that Adam purchased in 1764. Geo. Granberry and Anthony Williams were witnesses.

From review of existing records, it appears that Adam McGlohon and Adam McGlawhorn are the same person.

The deed is recorded in Deed Book I, page 204 at the Pitt County Courthouse in Greenville, North Carolina..1
