John C. Cox, brother of Warren's wife, Sarah Cox Braxton, witnessed the deed. Nicey was the first cousin once removed of John and Sarah.

There has to be more to this story! This deed is recorded at the Pitt County Courthouse in Greenville, North Carolina in Deed Book L4, Page 110.
