Biography* Sadly when Carrie's mother, Mandy died, when she was about 4 or 5, her father, John, decided that he and his new wife, Patty, either could not or could not be bothered with raising her. John heartbreakingly gave her away to people he knew that lived in the Western part of the state. She reportedly cried and cried as they loaded her up and took her away. Later it was reported that she attended her father's funeral.1
