Marriage*She married Samuel G. Nine at Contentnea Township, Pitt County, North Carolina, on 02/06/1886. In the Pitt County Marriage Register for 1886, it is recorded that Frances V. Tripp, age 19 and daughter of Mr. Tyson and Nettie Tripp, married Samuel G. Nine, age 27 and son of Samuel Nine and Rhoena Hendricks, in Contentnea.

From a review of this record, other records and the parties surnames, it appears that Frances' parents never married..3,2 
Death*Frances died. 
Biography* Frances must have been the daughter named Fannie, age 12, listed in the household of Warren and Cennetta Braxton in the 1880 Federal Population Census. 
Deed*Frances bought property at Pitt County, North Carolina, on 11/20/1890. Cennetta name was spelled Cenetnea and Senetten in this deed. The deed reads as follws: "... Witnesseth, that said Cenetnea Braxton for the Consideration of the nattural love and affection and the consideration of one dollars, to me paid by the said Frances V, Nine...Excepting my life Estate on the same in this Certain Tracts or parcels of land Deeded by Warren Braxton to the said Cenetnea Braxton One tract Deeded to Warren Braxton by Harry Kitrell and wife Lousia also one tract deeded from Lorenzi McLawhorn wife Susan E. to the said Warren Braxton first tract Containing one acre. One other tract Containing ten acres more or less adjoining the lands of Reding Tripp Benjamin Moye and others..."

This deed is recorded at the Pitt County Courthouse in Greeville North Carolina in Deed Book A5, Page 497..1
